DIRECTOR, NEW STADIUM TICKET SALES – OVERVIEW:
The Director, New Stadium Ticket Sales plays a key leadership role within Elevate’s new stadium project in the Northeast, reporting to the Senior Director, New Stadium Ticket Sales. This position is responsible for leading and developing a high-performing sales team focused on driving new full season ticket memberships and building a strong foundational fan base for the new venue. 

The Director will be accountable for maximizing membership sales through proactive prospecting, data-driven sales approaches, and best-in-class fan engagement.  In addition to leading day-to-day sales efforts, this individual will play a critical role in recruiting, coaching, and developing talent, while helping to establish scalable processes and a high-performance culture.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team of ticketing sales representatives. 
  • Set clear performance metrics, conduct regular performance reviews, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. 
  • Maintain a deep understanding of sales pipelines, helping navigate team members through the sales process to successfully close key accounts. 
  • Develop and execute innovative ticket sales campaigns to achieve annual revenue goals for all ticketing products. 
  • Collaborate with other departments to create a cohesive strategy for campaign deployment, lead generation and an exceptional fan experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of successful sales experience in sports, media, sponsorships and/or direct sales is preferred.
  • Preferred 3 years of proven leadership experience in a sales environment including coaching, mentoring, hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Experience in high-dollar premium or B2B Sales ($10k-$250k deals)
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Paciolan, SeatGeek, Ticketmaster) and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft CRM).
  • Must be able to set appointments and conduct presentations, as well as out of office presentations.
  • Experience leading premium sales in college athletics or professional sports environment.

  • Strong presentation skills and confidence selling to corporate decision makers and high net worth individuals
  • Ability to develop and deliver sound recommendations to senior management
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize under pressure.
  • Flexible and adaptable to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required across event needs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) & Google Suite
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making approach.
  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to lead diverse teams with empathy and accountability.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
  1. Working Environment: 
    1. Primarily office-based with frequent attendance at athletic events, community engagements, and client meetings
  2. Physical Demands: 
    1. This position requires the ability to lift up to 20 pounds
  3. Travel Requirements: 
    1. Minimal but may be required for special events or out-of-office appointments

We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
