DIRECTOR, BRAND CONSULTING - OVERVIEW
This role sits on Elevate's Brand Consulting team. The Brand Consulting vertical for Elevate focuses on consultative services and building platforms/programs within sports, entertainment and lifestyle marketing with domestic and international brands. The Director will report to the VP, Brand and will be responsible for working on the management of a retail-focused brand. The individual must thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment, be eager to take on new challenges and opportunities, as well as transition across a variety of sports partnerships based on the needs of the account & the overall business. A successful candidate is an experienced sports and shopper marketer, with exceptional client management skills, strong business development acumen and a proven record of leading programs for world class brands. Must be a creative and proactive thinker, with the ability to connect disparate pieces of a puzzle into integrated, multi-channel programs in and around sports, entertainment and lifestyle properties.

At this time, we prefer to hire candidates who are based in or able to work from our Charlotte, NC or New York City location(s). 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Day-to-day client and project leadership for a CPG brand with a focus on selling sports programs to retailers
● Day-to-day leadership and delivery of the client programs
● Assist in strategic sports marketing program and project planning specific to retail sports marketing programs for clients
● Lead the development of retail sports marketing activation plans
● Oversee program execution for assigned clients
● Integrated project management across multiple disciplines and departments, internal and external to Elevate
● Provide on-going thought-leadership for client and new business opportunities
● Build and maintain exceptional client and industry relationships
● Create YOY organic growth with existing clients
● Work with the relevant Elevate verticals including Insights, Creative etc. to provide the necessary support & services for our clients
● Maintain strong understanding of the general sports marketing landscape to proactively identify relevant opportunities & trends for our clients
● Attend necessary client events to provide on-site support & account servicing

QUALIFICATIONS:
The qualifications listed below represent the credentials necessary to perform the essential functions of this position. Education and/or Experience
● Bachelor’s degree
● 5-10 years of industry experience
● Retail Sports Marketing and/or Shopper Marketing experience preferred
● Agency experience preferred
● Experience managing & activating integrated partnerships across sports properties
● Experience with CPG brands a plus

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
● Knowledge and experience within brand management
● Strong knowledge of the sports and entertainment industry
● Experience managing sponsorship marketing programs, inclusive of domestic and international sports properties, events and athletes
● Strong, general marketing acumen across all mediums
● Exceptional industry relationships within sports and entertainment
● Exceptional client management skills
● Solid understanding of experiential marketing, including past management of on-the-ground programs
● Strong organizational and project management skills and the ability to manage multiple work streams to execute programs
● Proven team player with expertise working on integrated projects across multiple departments and disciplines within an organization
● Impeccable mentorship and team management skills
● Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint

Compensation
● $90,000 - $120,000

Compensation listed  is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Charlotte, NC or New York, NY.  An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
