POSITION OVERVIEW: ASSOCIATE HR BUSINESS PARTNER
We’re looking for an Associate HR Business Partner who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys partnering closely with leaders to solve complex people challenges.

In this role, you’ll support business leaders through employee relations and performance management while partnering with HR Business Partners to drive people initiatives, strengthen team effectiveness, and improve the overall employee experience. This role reports to and works in close partnership with the Director, HRBP.


WHAT YOU'LL DO
EMPLOYEE RELATIONS & PERFORMANCE 
  • Partner with leaders to address employee relations matters, team dynamics, and workplace concerns
  • Coach managers through performance conversations, feedback, and difficult employee situations
  • Support leaders in addressing performance challenges, including performance improvement plans and disciplinary processes
  • Conduct workplace investigations and provide thoughtful, compliant recommendations

HR BUSINESS PARTNER & LEADERSHIP SUPPORT
  • Partner with HR Business Partners to support people strategy, organizational changes, and leadership initiatives
  • Create and maintain organizational charts to support workforce planning and team visibility
  • Assist with people-related projects and initiatives aligned to business priorities

EMPLOYEE INSIGHTS & REPORTING
  • Conduct exit interviews, identifying trends and opportunities to improve engagement and retention
  • Support HR reporting and analysis, pulling insights from HR systems to inform decision-making
  • Track and analyze employee relations and performance management trends


WHAT YOU BRING
  • 3-5 years of HR experience in a generalist or HR business partner role
  • Strong experience managing employee relations cases and workplace investigations
  • Experience supporting performance management processes and coaching managers
  • Experience working with HRIS systems and HR data/reporting
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite. Advanced excel skills is a plus 
  • Strong judgment, discretion, and problem-solving abilities

POSITION AND BENEFITS DETAILS: 
  • Anticipated Salary: $90,000-105,000
  • Full Time, Exempt

Travel Requirements: 
  • Travel will not be frequent but may be required on occasion 
Physical Demands:
  • This position requires sitting for extended periods while using a computer or phone.
Work Environment:
  • This role is remote, with the potential for a hybrid work arrangement in Charlotte, NC.
