The University of Miami is a Division I institution and a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference and sponsors 18 varsity teams. The Hurricanes have won 22 team national titles, including five in football and four in baseball.
The Account Executive is responsible for generating new season and group ticket sales for all athletic revenue-producing events.
*Prospect and acquire new customers through phone calls, in person appointments, sales events and referrals.
*Generate revenue through the sales of season seats, groups and premium season memberships.
*Maintain detailed notes on prospective clients through CRM system.
*Develop relationships within the local business and civic community with intent to enhance product visibility, awareness and revenues to achieve short and long term sales objectives established by Athletic Department.
*Prepare and present sales progress report providing all supporting documentation to Assistant Athletic Director for Ticket Sales.
*Be knowledgeable of and ensure compliance with departmental, University, conference and NCAA procedures, rules and regulations.
*Work evening, weekends and travel as needed.
*Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications: 
A Bachelor’s degree in Sports Administration, Marketing, Business or related field; and previous sales experience. Preferably in professional or intercollegiate athletics.
