Duties & Responsibilities

• Build new events, price codes, promo codes, offers, and packages in Archtics as directed.
• Resolve all ticketing issues onsite at the Keybank Center for the Buffalo Sabres, Buffalo Bandits, concerts, and all other ticketed events.
• Utilize Ticketmaster software to troubleshoot any and all ticket issues, e.g. reprinting tickets, researching scan history of a ticket, selling a new ticket, etc.
• Monitor access control to ensure the proper scanning of tickets.
• Track attendance for all events, including pre-sales, walk-ups, promotions, discounts, etc.
• Work with sales and marketing departments to set up various ticket discounts and promotions
• Responsible for system upgrades, occasional testing of new software and routine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Maintain a positive, outgoing demeanor, always adhering to the core expectations of our Box Office team
• Use Excel to generate reports for finance and marketing.
• Provide support to Sales and Service Representatives by coordinating experiences and benefits for customers.
• Other duties as assigned by Director of Ticket Operations or Box Office Manager

Minimum Qualifications for the Position:

• Bachelor’s Degree Required

• Minimum 3-5 years sales and service experience, preferably with a sports team or closely related industry
• Work schedule must be flexible and be able to work weekends and holidays
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.  Knowledge of Ticketmaster/Archtics, Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Adobe Photoshop is a plus

Critical Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3-5 Years of ticketing experience. Arena and professional sports preferred.
• Experience using TicketMaster Host & Archtics.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Office with a concentration in Excel.
• Ability to work a varied schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays.
