Ticket Operations: Box Office Database Administration

  • Manage daily Box Office duties ensuring proper staffing to provide the most productive and efficient workflow
  • Oversee and process daily ticket orders/tasks processed in a timely manner
  • Hire and manage gameday staff and customer service staff
  • Provide training and re-training and additional education as necessary for Ticket Sellers regarding TicketMaster Host, Archtics, mobile technology and customer service practices
  • Manage the box office on game day and special events
  • Provide insight to technological ticketing decisions and ensure the proper implementation is filtering through all internal sales/service, Ticket Sellers and Box Office management channels
  • Reconcile and maintain all financial reports (daily, monthly, etc...) with the ticket office
  • Support sales team with reports and database maintenance
  • Keep detailed attendance records
  • Coordinate season ticket and individual ticket stock ordering and printing, which includes setting up a time line with the printing company while taking into account numerous season ticket plans, sponsors, and trade accounts
  • Track ticket inventory throughout the off season and season to maximize opportunities to sell to customers
  • Set up and monitor/manage all ticketing system and associated processes.  Provide customer service on ticketing questions from individual, seasonal, group and corporate customers
  • Prepare all events and account renewals year over year and generate all invoices
  • Possess a team oriented attitude, relationship building and professional demeanor 
  • Provide unsurpassed external and internal customer service year round
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, extensive customer service skills
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 3+ years of ticketing experience, experience in an sports arena/entertainment venue preferred
  • Strong communication skills, strong event/entertainment background, strong payment/cash management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a high energy fast-paced environment, while skillfully blending efforts and requirements of multiple personnel
  • Strong computer skills are essential, candidate must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Arcthics Ticketing system knowledge a plus
  • Work schedule must be flexible – evenings, weekends and holidays required as needed
