About the Role
As Warehouse Manager, you will oversee fulltime and part-time/seasonal warehouse associates, ensuring seamless equipment logistics, inventory tracking, and shipping operations that power BallerTV’s nationwide event coverage. While you’ll directly lead day-to-day warehouse functions, there is a dotted-line reporting structure with the Director of Logistics & Warehouse Operations, who sets overall strategy and provides escalation support. This is a player-coach role—you’ll lead a team while also being hands-on in packing, inventory tracking, and quality control.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee full- and part-time warehouse associates, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized facility with high operational standards.
- Ensure optimal warehouse layout to support efficient workflows.
- Coordinate with the BallerTV events team to ensure accurate and timely equipment delivery for tournaments.
- Physically handle shipments—packing, scanning, receiving, and auditing inventory.
- Order and maintain supplies (boxes, tape, shipping materials) to ensure seamless packing and shipping.
- Put together shift schedules for warehouse associates, ensuring appropriate staffing for workload.
- Implement night and/or weekend shifts during peak seasons to support high-volume demands.
- Ensure proper inventory tracking using our proprietary WMS (Warehouse Management System) and work with the Product team to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on new and returned equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and maintain organization across warehouse operations.
- Transport equipment via van when needed to regional sporting events.
- Audit and standardize storage units across the U.S.
- Communicate and escalate operational issues to the Director of Logistics & Warehouse Operations when necessary.
- Lead by example—this is a hands-on role where you’ll work alongside your team.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution center operations
- Proven experience leading a team in a hands-on environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting
- Basic proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and inventory management software
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a cargo van when needed

- Work Conditions: Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for long periods
