About the Department
The Workforce Operations (WFO) Team is a part of the Guest Experience Department. WFO is responsible for the hiring, onboarding and operational functions of our Guest Experience event day team members. This includes anything from scheduling for Major & Private Events, tracking and managing event day staff scheduling communications, payroll adjustments, changes, corrections and submissions. WFO is responsible for overseeing staffing/roster adjustments, placements, hiring, workforce reductions and promotions of event day team members. This team is responsible for fostering an excellent and welcoming culture and work environment, including maintaining a healthy workforce roster.
Position Summary
The Workforce Operations Specialist is responsible all scheduling of Mercedes-Benz Stadium Guest Experience part-time team members for events held at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. This person is expected to engage with team members regularly, fostering connection and building team member relationships while collecting feedback and addressing concerns. They will maintain best practices, standard operating procedures, while innovating continuously to ensure efficiencies and a cohesive positive environment. The Workforce Operations Seasonal Associate will report directly to the Manager, Workforce Operations.
Roles and Responsibilities
Scheduling & Systems Management
- Lead scheduling for Guest Experience team members across major, private and special events at Mercedes-Benz Stadium using ABIMM. Tasks include distributing positioning reports, assigning parking, managing event-day changes, and compiling post-event debriefs.
- Maintain and navigate ABIMM workforce systems, tracking attendance, availability, and performance notes to ensure accurate roster management and system integrity.
Payroll Processing
- Ensure accuracy, detail and completion of payroll processing for Guest Experience part-time team members, timely and efficiently.
- Coordinate with internal systems to ensure payroll processes run smoothly and align with company standards.
Communications
- Manage department communications related to scheduling and staffing, including email responses and inbox management.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for team member inquiries on both event and non-event days – providing timely and consistent responses for team members.
Programs
- Support execution of WFO events such as hiring fairs, training sessions, and select major stadium events.
- Assist with onboarding, referral programs, wardrobe inventory, and coordination with not-for-profit organizations.
Reporting & Data
- Generate staffing and performance reports, including attendance and availability tracking, for department leadership.
- Provide data-driven insights to support operational decisions and team member management.
Event Operations
- Work events as assigned on a rotational basis.
- Facilitate event-day check-in processes, staffing reports, and shuttle/parking logistics.
- Engage with team members during events to foster relationships, gather feedback, and address concerns in real time.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience within hospitality, events, guest experience, scheduling.
- Availability to work late nights, weekdays, weekends and holidays.
- At minimum, 1-2 years of experience scheduling and maintaining a large team member workforce.
- At minimum, 1-2 years of experience working in an employee scheduling and workforce management system.
- Maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Microsoft Suite.
- Strong ability to communicate efficiently and consistently, both verbal and written.
- Extremely flexible and adaptable in changing environments, with ability to develop effective processes.
- Innovative, creative with strong project management skills and detail oriented.
- Strong learning agility.
Preferred Requirements and Skills
- University degree in hospitality, human resources or related areas.
- Experience with ABIMM.
- Experience with Workday.
- Experience working with a major sports organization/venue.
- Skills in data analytics, reports or related.
