
Digital Video Producer with Atlanta Falcons Football Club in Flowery Branch · GA
Position Summary:
The producer must have strong skills in shooting and editing football and non-football content with a digital-first mindset. With the Falcons, a ‘digital-first’ mindset means you are more than a shooter/editor, or just a member of the video team. You are a content producer, which means you have a responsibility to know what our audiences are interested in, and that your work is intended for those audiences’ interests. All of our content producers are responsible for evaluating content performance, and identifying when our work is, or is not, working with our audiences.
- Performs all post-production tasks including: capturing & reviewing b-roll, lighting design, sound design, color correction, incorporation of graphics, and editing.
- Production of video features and content at all levels of the production process, from pre-production, production and post-production for all Falcons digital platforms.
- Capture cinematic caliber video content for both football and non-football content.
- Set and lighting design to capture high-level interviews for storytelling features.
- Assist the digital video team in keeping video assets organized and named by logging and archival.
- Provided with big picture desired tone, exercises creative latitude when finalizing video projects. Determines creative look and feel.
- Create and post content for all digital platforms, including: AtlantaFalcons.com, social media properties, and Falcons’ local and national TV partners.
- Contribute compelling content ideas for Falcons digital mediums to support overall Falcons’ brand strategy.
- Work with the branding team to create animated motion graphics.
- Assist in analytics recapping and content performance evaluation.
- Responsible for the performance of their work, identifying when it is not performing up to expectations and working with the group to find solutions or recommend new content to replace.
- Creatively collaborate with the rest of the digital team to create content that both works for our fans and can open sponsorship inventory.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in Film/Video production. Experience in sports is preferred; not required.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Proficient in video production techniques utilizing the Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Ability to manage projects from start to finish on short timelines.
- Proficiency with cinematic caliber cameras, such as RED cameras, Canon Cinema EOS cameras, Sony FS7, and more in collaboration with Canon EF and Cine lenses.
- Understanding of video asset organization technique
- Curious mind that seeks answers for producing content that engages more people, more often, for longer periods of time.
