The Role

AXS is seeking a Lead Software Quality Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys and thrives in working with a variety of tools, languages, and architectures while testing features and applications for our core ticketing systems. You will work on consumer-facing and B2B applications that can scale and handle high demand, as well as complex enterprise systems that meet our global needs.  

  

What You’ll Be Doing  

  • Lead a team of QA Analysts and Engineers, providing direction, guidance, and coaching 
  • Prioritize and estimate work assignments for the team and managing their deliverables 
  • Close collaboration with the development, project management, and product teams 
  • Provide process improvements to the team 
  • Work with the QA team to further develop test Automation tools and strategy for Mobile, Web, and Back-end services 
  • Develop testing standards and work with various stakeholders to ensure standard QA processes are implemented and followed 

 

What to Bring  

  • 2-4 years software quality assurance analysis and/or testing experience, including a thorough understanding of the software development life cycle 
  • 2+ years of leading a QA team  
  • Ability to to define comprehensive test strategies across functional, integration, and regression levels 
  • Using KPIs (e.g. defect leakage, coverage, test execution trends) to make data-backed decisions 
  • Implementing QA standards, review gates, and quality dashboards to ensure consistent delivery 
  • Knows how to use basic as well as advanced features and functions of Jira Bug tracking system 
  • A good understanding of how backend services work and testing them using Postman 
  • Experience with Automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Appium, WebDriver, JMeter, etc. 
  • Proficient with writing SQL queries 
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills  
  • Takes initiative, stays focused, always accountable 
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with the ability to focus on achieving the target while minding longer term goal along the way   

  

Nice to Have  

  • Experience Architecting or maintaining frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, pytest) 
  • Experience with Load testing tools like JMeter, Gatling, Loadium, BlazeMeter; interpreting performance metrics 
  • Understanding data masking, synthetic data generation, and environment configuration best practices  
  • Experience with Security and Compliance Awareness 
  • Familiarity with tools like Grafana, New Relic, or Datadog for production quality validation 

 

Pay Scale: $110,000-$130,000

Bonus: This position is eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
