Job Summary:

AEG Internship Program offers a real-world experience that allows college students to learn the business of sports and live entertainment. In the Employee Engagement Department, interns have a unique opportunity to work alongside a team that builds and maintains Corporate Culture and Employee Engagement through events and internal communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Own a number of internal communication projects, including overseeing reoccurring weekly features on the company’s intranet.
  • Assist with the execution of comms plans
  • Support event logistics (pulling RSVP lists, setting up and breakdown of events, booking conference rooms, etc.) for virtual and in-person events 
  • Assist with curating and posting company content for employees using SharePoint and AEG Backstage (company intranet)  
  • Perform a company intranet audit to ensure all pages are up to date 
  • Assist Senior Employee Engagement Events Specialist with various tasks related to employee events, (AEG Summer Picnic, Lunch with leadership, etc.)  
  • Help Employee Engagement team members a variety of projects as they come up.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field
  • Passion for sports and live entertainment
  • Highly organized, resourceful, and dependable with excellent interpersonal skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, specifically
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • The AEG Internship Program requires a minimum commitment of 24 hours per week during the summer.

Pay Scale: $19.00 - $21.00

Location: Los Angeles (On-Site)

Bonus: This position is not eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.

Benefits: Part-time: This position is not eligible for benefits.
