Job Summary:

AEG Internship Program offers a real-world experience that allows college students to learn the business of sports and live entertainment.  The AEG Presents intern will assist with marketing operations and have a behind-the-scenes look at a historic Kansas City venue while having the opportunity to shadow other departments. This role will expose the intern to a well-rounded understanding of show production.

Responsibilities:

  • Highly organized, resourceful, and dependable with excellent interpersonal skills and oral and written communication skills
  • Manage venue social media organic content, including copywriting, photos, image creation and editing
  • Assist with securing media for events and escorting media at events
  • Collaborate in creating ad plans for shows
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Photography assistance at events as needed

Qualifications:

  • Passion for live entertainment
  • Interest in marketing and social media
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office – EXCEL, WORD, and PowerPoint specifically
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
