Job Summary:

The AEG Internship Program offers a real-world experience that allows college students to learn the business of sports and live entertainment. The Intern will support the Goldenvoice’s Festivals Production Department with both administrative tasks leading up to fall festivals as well as on-site support. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in the operations and logistics of music festivals.

The Festival Production Intern will learn a broad overview of what goes into building a music festival of various shapes and sizes in different venues. They’ll have the opportunity to work side-by-side with a knowledgeable and experienced team while observing the interaction and collaboration with other festival departments and entities.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings
  • Take detailed notes during production meetings
  • Update and maintain spreadsheets, including production schedules, RFP templates, contact sheets, and Smartsheets
  • Track and/or submit receipts and expenses
  • Provide general administrative support to the Production team

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field
  • Strong interest in live events, music festivals, or event production
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite; familiarity with Smartsheet, a plus but not required
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, motivated, and proactive
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
  • The AEG Internship Program requires a minimum commitment of 18 hours per week during the fall.

Pay Scale: $19.00 - $21.00

Location: Los Angeles (On-Site)

Bonus: This position is not eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
