Positions Available:

-  Front of House Catering Staff (Servers & Food Runners)

-  Dishwasher

-  Prep Cook

Required Availability: April 8th 2024 through May 1st 2024

Front-of-House Staff

SUMMARY

Front of House catering staff will be responsible for providing staff and guests with excellent customer service, serve food and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet guests as they enter the catering area.
  • Ensure the dining room and serving area are set up, clean, stocked and visually appealing.
  • Serve food, refill empty trays, make sandwiches and maintain refreshment availability, such as coffee and tea, to staff and guests.
  • Clear, clean and reset tables to ensure they are ready for the next guests.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Good interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Ability to work outdoors in possibly extreme heat, high winds and cold desert conditions

PREFERENCES

  • Previous experience in the restaurant industry
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Pay Scale: $17.00 - $19.50

Dishwasher

SUMMARY

The dishwasher position is a vital position to the overall cleanliness of the catering area and safety of our guests and staff. Our dishwasher staff will be responsible for cleaning, sanitizing and properly storing all dishes, flatware, utensils and kitchenware at a high volume capacity in the catering area’s back of house.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Clean and sanitize all dishware, flatware, kitchen pots, pans and utensils.
  • Use all chemicals properly in the correct quantities for safety and cost control.
  • Safely and correctly operate all equipment.
  • Carefully sort all dishware and flatware to ensure none are lost or disposed of.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and dish areas, floors and drains.
  • Assist in the maintenance of kitchen storage areas, cleanliness and stocking.
  • Clean and maintain all mats.
  • Assist with other tasks as needed.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Good interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and perform in a noisy, fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in the restaurant industry preferred
  • Ability to lift objects, such as pots, pans and other kitchen items
  • Ability to work outdoors in possibly extreme heat, high winds and cold desert conditions


PREFERENCES

  • Previous experience in the restaurant industry
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Pay Scale: $17.00-$19.00

 

Prep Cook

SUMMARY

Prep Cook is responsible for preparing the exceptional culinary experience for our staff and guests through the preparation of our menu. The prep cook is also responsible for maintaining the clean cooking environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Measure ingredients and prepare them in accordance to chef’s specifications.
  • Wash and peel ingredients in order for them to be used in different meals.
  • Cut and portion different types of meat according to specifications.
  • Place food trays under food warmers.
  • Accept or reject ingredients from food suppliers, based on their appearance and quality.
  • Keep track of ingredient quantities.
  • Store ingredients in dedicated containers, making sure that they are best preserved.
  • Informs superiors when the ingredients stock is getting low or when the kitchen tools do not work properly.
  • Clean and sanitize the working surfaces, tools, utensils and working area.
  • Safely and correctly operate all equipment.
  • Assist with other tasks as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent knife skills
  • Ability to multi-task and perform in a noisy, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to work outdoors in possibly extreme heat, high winds and cold desert conditions
  • If hired, cooks must bring own knives to position.

PREFERENCES

  • Previous experience in the restaurant industry
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Pay Scale: $18.00 - $20.00
