Job Description

FANgineers play a vital role in the success of the hospitality program and game days – they help engineer a great experience by providing the highest level of hospitality for our fans in the premium seating areas on game day. FANgineers serve as goodwill ambassadors to donors and their guests while maintaining the operational policies in place for all premium seating areas.

FANgineers also serve as a liaison between donors, caterers, maintenance staff, custodial staff, Hospitality Managers, and Athletic Department personnel.

Duties and Responsibilities

Primary duties to include, but not limited to the following:

  • Act as game day ambassadors for Gator Hospitality and the athletic department.
  • Ensure all game day policies and procedures are being upheld.
  • Monitor entrances, review tickets, and be aware of access control protocols.
  • Perform pre-, during-, and post-game duties associated with the premium areas (i.e., facility checks, guest admission procedures, access control, food & beverage needs, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned.

Availability and Opportunities

  • Must have some week day and weekend availability to work selected home baseball games at Condron Family Ballpark.
  • FANgineers are hourly employees. Hours will range between 4-6 hours per game, depending on the home baseball game schedule.
  • FANgineers are expected to work the entire baseball game day shift, which typically begins 30 minutes prior to premium gate opening and ends approximately 30-45 minutes post-game.
  • Along with baseball home games, FANgineers gain the opportunity (with a positive supervisor evaluation) to work additional athletic events, such as football, basketball, gymnastics and stadium concerts/events.
