WHY THIS POSITION EXISTS
This position exists to advance Nashville Superspeedway’s brand visibility, fan engagement, and ticket sales through the execution of data-informed marketing strategies across digital, traditional, and community channels. Your work directly connects our company to fans, strengthens our presence in the Middle Tennessee market, and drives the revenue that sustains our business.

You will lead the day-to-day execution and continuous improvement of the Speedway Motorsports Marketing Playbooks, ensuring alignment, consistency, and innovation across all marketing operations. When campaigns convert, fans engage, and the community knows our name, you have done your job well.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
These are the outcomes this position owns. You are responsible for delivering these results consistently, and they serve as the foundation for how your performance is measured.

1.  Marketing Strategy, Promotions, and Paid Media
Execute integrated marketing campaigns that combine paid, owned, and earned media with data-informed targeting and optimization. Analyze campaign performance, fan behavior, and purchase patterns to inform ticket sales strategy. Recommend and execute timing, creative approaches, and channel mix for campaigns. Partner with corporate and local teammates to align enterprise initiatives with Nashville-specific insights. Continuously refine Marketing Playbooks by incorporating data-backed learnings and emerging best practices.

2.  Event Marketing Execution and Fan Experience
Execute the planning and coordination of all event marketing touchpoints, fan activations, and race week experiences. Support the marketing team and event staff during race weeks to ensure seamless execution. Apply Speedway Motorsports Playbooks to deliver consistent, high-quality on-site fan experiences. Oversee event logistics including signage, hospitality, sponsor integration, and experiential marketing elements. Conduct post-event debriefs to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.

•          Smooth, professional execution during high-pressure race week environments.
•          Enhanced event operations Playbook standards informed by team collaboration and on-site insights.

3.  Event Promotion and Real-Time Campaign Optimization
Develop and execute ticket sales and promotional campaigns for major events. Monitor performance metrics during race weeks and event cycles, adjusting media spend, messaging, and tactics based on ticket sales trends and engagement data. Execute post-event analysis to evaluate campaign effectiveness, ROI, and opportunities for refinement. Test and optimize promotional offers, creative assets, and audience targeting to maximize conversion and revenue.

•          Year-over-year gains in attendance driven by smarter, more targeted campaigns.
•          Continuous improvement of promotional Playbooks informed by performance analytics.

4.  Community Engagement and Partnerships

Design and execute a comprehensive community engagement strategy in alignment with the Speedway Motorsports Community Impact Playbook. Plan and implement outreach programs and charitable events, including Speedway Children’s Charities initiatives. Serve as a visible ambassador at regional events, civic gatherings, and partner activations. Guide the marketing team in producing digital and social content that amplifies community impact stories.

•          Increased visibility and goodwill within Middle Tennessee communities
•          Expanded local partnerships and community collaborations.
•          Strengthened internal and external engagement around the Impact Community principle.

5.  Digital Platforms, Social Media, and Conversion
Collaborate to provide strategic direction for Nashville Superspeedway’s website, social media platforms, email, and SMS channels using data-driven recommendations. Work with the marketing team to implement strategies that optimize posting cadence, creative performance, audience segmentation, and call-to-action effectiveness. Analyze performance data to adjust messaging and tactics that directly support ticket sales goals. Test, learn, and scale high-performing content and campaigns across platforms.

Outcomes:
•          Stronger digital engagement and higher conversion rates across platforms.
•          Social and outbound messaging strategies consistently aligned with ticket sales objectives.
•          Clear, data-backed insights guiding ongoing optimization.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience and Competencies
•          Experience in marketing, communications, event promotion, or related fields.
•          Demonstrated success developing and executing marketing strategies that drive measurable results.
•          Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data into strategy and action.
•          Experience with paid media, partnerships, and brand storytelling.
•          Proficiency in content creation tools, marketing platforms, and analytics software.
•          Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.
•          Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and event days as required.

Preferred Experience
•          Background in motorsports, live entertainment, or sports marketing.
•          Experience with cross-functional collaboration in a multi-site or network organization.
•          Familiarity with CRM systems, email marketing platforms, and community engagement initiatives.
