NHRA continues to race forward with a number of key initiatives, including a multiyear partnership with FOX Sports to televise NHRA events from the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, and the Pro Mod Drag Racing Series.  FOX Sports networks aired more than 500 hours of programming throughout the year, highlighted by 20+ race-day shows, including eight on FOX’s national network, in addition to qualifying broadcasts throughout the weekend. NHRA fans continue to be some of the most loyal in any sport.

Position Summary:
The Ticket Sales Coordinator is responsible for driving single day, full-event, groups, and premium seating ticket sales across NHRA National Events through outbound telephone sales and multi-channel outreach.  This role manages a portfolio of new and existing fan accounts, supports renewal campaigns, and works cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and corporate partnerships to deliver a seamless guest experience at the track. The Ticket Sales Coordinator receives dedicated sales training, tools, and ongoing support to set them up for success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:   
  • Execute a minimum of 100 outbound sales calls daily, targeting single-day, full-event, group, and premium seating opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly ticket sales goals while delivering outstanding customer service to every contact.
  • Manage a pipeline of new and returning fan accounts, building lasting relationships and driving renewal rates.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date prospect and customer records in the CRM and ticketing systems (Paciolan and/or equivalent platforms).
  • Generate new business through prospecting, cold calling, and identifying upsell opportunities — premium seating, hospitality packages, pit passes, and Fan Zone access.
  • Coordinate ticket fulfillment, suite inventory, and group check-in with the events and operations teams.
  • Represent NHRA at National Events and community events, actively promoting ticket sales and fan engagement.
  • Partner with marketing on promotional campaigns, discount programs, and season-ticket initiatives to maximize event attendance.
  • Effectively follow up with clients and prospective clients to strengthen relationships and improve the overall customer experience.
  • Respond to fan inquiries across multiple channels – phone, email, and in person – with a professional and knowledgeable voice
  • Assist customer service efforts during renewal campaigns and inbound inquiry management.
  • Attend weekly team meetings and actively participate in ongoing sales training sessions.

Minimum Skills and Qualifications:
Required
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage clients and management at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and self-directed — able to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel to select NHRA national events via car or air.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends during event periods.

Preferred
  • Experience with Paciolan, Salesforce, SeatGeek, or comparable ticketing platforms.
  • 1-2+ years of experience in ticket sales, sports sales, call center, or live event sales.
  • Background in group sales or premium/hospitality sales.
  • Familiarity with NHRA event structure, race classes, and motorsports fan culture.
  • Experience in motorsports, NASCAR, IndyCar, or adjacent racing properties.
