Marketing Services Manager

This position will be located at our corporate office in Glendora, CA and will report to the Senior Director of Live Events. Primary responsibilities will be working closely with sponsors, tracks, and NHRA teams to ensure onsite fulfillment of contractual obligations.  In addition, you will also be expected to play a key role in NHRA’s fan engagement and onsite entertainment initiatives. The MSM will work as a member of the National Event Marketing team to ensure the successful planning and implementation of all NHRA Event productions.   


  • Key role in development and implementation of new entertainment and fan engagement activities

  • Developing creative strategies based on client’s goals, objectives and budgets

  • Pre event planning and reports to ensure success onsite

  • Reviewing proposed onsite production to ensure continuity and marketing guideline protocol

  • Contributing member of physical load in and load out of assets (able to lift at least 50 lbs)

  • Preparation of reports and analysis of each NHRA Event

Required Skills, Experiences and Abilities

  • Bachelor’s in Marketing, Business, Communications, or Sports Management

  • Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience working full-time with an agency, team or league office – motorsports experience preferred

  • Strong communications skills coupled with strong customer service orientation

  • Able and excited to travel nationwide to 20+ NHRA weekend events

  • Appreciation / knowledge of NHRA drag racing and motorsports is preferred

  • High level proficiency of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to work outdoors in extreme temperatures

  • Must be able to work up to 10-12 hours per day

  • Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs

  • Must be able to travel nationwide
