Strategy for Winning:
The Motion and Digital Designer works alongside the Director, Digital Design and marketing managers to develop and implement online and interactive materials through problem solving, conceptualization, strategic thinking and design on various projects. The Motion and Digital Designer works  within the company’s website branding guidelines to ensure all content is consistent and accurate, and brings platform-appropriate creativity and personality to each project. 

Candidates must submit a portfolio that showcases their talents as a motion graphic designer with an excellent eye for good design and typography in the digital and social media landscape.

Responsibilities:
1.      Designs, conceptualizes, and animates 2D and 3D motion graphics for digital, social, and broadcast platforms.
2.      Creates short-form motion graphics, animations, illustrations, and GIFs.
3.      Designs for responsive websites, email templates, banner ads, social media graphics, and various other digital assets.
4.      Codes email templates with a focus on cross-platform compatibility and responsive frameworks.
5.      Builds user interfaces for websites and/or web applications.
 
 Skills & Experience:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in a related field. 
  2. 3 – 6+ years of relevant agency or digital marketing department experience.
  3. 2 – 4+ years of motion design experience
  4. Background in motion design, creating work that feels modern and keeps up with current trends.
  5. Knowledge of multiple video and motion graphics workflows.
  6. Experience working with backend content management experience (i.e. Wordpress or similar)
  7. Fluency in Adobe Creative Cloud software (Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, preferably some experience with Animate and Premiere as well) version 2017 or later.
  8. Familiarity with planning and designing for various social media platforms, and experience with rich media executions.
  9. Strong understanding of color profile management for static/video.
  10. Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  11. Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
  12. Ability to balance day-to-day tasks with special projects to meet aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced, demanding environment. Should be able to manage a heavy workload and prioritize tasks.
  13. Works well in a team-oriented environment.
  14. Solid understanding of design fundamentals and techniques.
  15. High level of skill in aspects of typography, color and layout.
  16. Ability to conceptualize and create original designs and follow through to completion.
  17. Effectively communicate and present design concepts and ideas.
