POSITION OVERVIEW
Brand Ambassadors Staff are the front-facing representatives of transport operations on match days, focused on customer interaction, wayfinding, and delivering a positive passenger experience. This role is less operationally focused and centers on providing clear directions, answering questions, and supporting spectators as they navigate transport services and venue access routes. Success in this role comes from strong communication, approachability, and the ability to remain calm and helpful in busy environments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Interaction
- Greet and assist passengers in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer questions related to transport services, routes, and locations
- Provide clear, accurate directions to passengers
Wayfinding Support
- Guide passengers to correct loading zones, routes, and access points
- Reinforce signage and wayfinding systems on-site
- Help reduce confusion and improve overall flow
Information Delivery
- Communicate key messages using provided scripts and talking points
- Share updates or instructions clearly and consistently
On-Site Support
- Observe crowd movement and flag issues to supervisors
- Assist with general passenger flow where needed
PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT
- Represent TMS professionally in operational meetings and coordination forums.
- Maintain clear communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting.
- Demonstrate leadership and professionalism in high-pressure environments.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident speaking with large groups and individuals
- Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
- Reliable and punctual
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Customer service, hospitality, retail, or event experience preferred
- No transportation background required
- Experience in public-facing roles is a strong advantage.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Outdoor, spectator-facing role
- High interaction with large crowds
- Standing and walking for extended periods
