The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a Senior HTML5 developer to build out our web platforms and web applications that are visited by over 80 million users and used in over 200 mobile apps around the world. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in building HTML5 web applications, including constructing responsive web-based user-interfaces to design specifications using HTML5/CSS3, strong programming fundamentals including JavaScript, and familiarity with typical web application development and deployment processes. We are looking for a senior developer who is capable of working on multiple projects at once and seeing them all through to completion, and a self-starter who is able to work through any obstacles to get the job done. We are a 24/7/365 global sports entity, so a solid understanding and love of sports and digital platforms is highly recommended.
We are looking for someone who...
- Is an experienced HTML5 and CSS3 developer
- Is an experienced JavaScript developer
- Has built multiple production responsive web applications
- Enjoys programming, debugging and dealing with production code every day
What you will be doing...
- Building responsive web-based user-interfaces using HTML5/CSS for production web applications that provide access to to media content, interactive features, loyalty programs, ticketing, etc. across millions of users around the world.
- Writing JavaScript code to power those user interfaces, including integrating software libraries and connecting them to the user interfaces that you build.
- Ensuring that your work is production-ready and deploying code updates to production systems.
Be our MVP if you have...
- 5 years+ of experience in building production HTML5/CSS3 web-based user-interfaces to design specifications
- 3 years+ of experience in using JavaScript to power dynamic web-based user-interfaces
- A deep understanding of the internals of web browsers, network protocols, and the underlying technologies of the web
- A love of debugging and troubleshooting distributed systems and production code
- A desire to work in a high energy, fast-paced environment
- A degree in Computer Science
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
