Position Summary
Triple Crown Sports is seeking an experienced Director of Integrated Marketing to serve as the operational leader of the Marketing & Media Department and a key partner to the Chief Marketing Officer.
This is a hands-on leadership role for a marketer who can translate broader company, brand, and growth strategies into coordinated campaigns and consistent execution. The  Director will oversee marketing operations, CRM and lifecycle marketing, email and SMS, database strategy, lead generation, digital campaigns, analytics, and integrated marketing planning.
This person will also help create structure and accountability across the department—ensuring priorities are clear, projects stay on schedule, teams communicate effectively, and marketing initiatives deliver measurable results.
This is not a management-only position. The ideal candidate is a player-coach who is equally comfortable leading people and personally working inside HubSpot, analyzing performance, developing customer journeys, troubleshooting workflows, and helping launch campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Operations & Integrated Campaign Management
·         Serve as the primary operational marketing partner to the Chief Marketing Officer.
·         Translate company and marketing strategies into actionable plans, campaigns, timelines, and deliverables.
·         Own the department’s integrated marketing and campaign calendar across multiple sports, events, brands, and business initiatives.
·         Establish clear priorities, project ownership, deadlines, and accountability.
·         Improve marketing workflows, project management, resource allocation, and communication.
·         Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across Marketing, Creative Services, Media & Broadcast, Partnerships, Sales, Event Operations, and other internal teams.
·         Prioritize competing requests based on organizational goals, revenue opportunities, customer needs, and available resources.
·         Ensure major campaigns are coordinated across email, social, web, paid media, creative, content, and other customer touchpoints.

Growth, Lifecycle & CRM Marketing
·         Own Triple Crown Sports’ CRM, lifecycle marketing, and database strategy.
·         Serve as a primary HubSpot owner and advanced user.
·         Develop customer journeys that support acquisition, conversion, engagement, retention, and repeat participation.
·         Lead email and SMS strategy, including automated workflows, nurture campaigns, registration campaigns, event communications, and post-event engagement.
·         Manage audience segmentation, database standards, and contact management practices.
·         Develop lead-generation and customer-acquisition strategies that grow participation and revenue.
·         Manage and optimize paid digital marketing campaigns.
·         Partner with internal teams to improve landing pages, forms, conversion paths, and digital customer experiences.
·         Identify opportunities to improve marketing efficiency through automation, technology, and AI.

Analytics & Performance
·         Establish and maintain meaningful marketing KPIs and dashboards.
·         Measure performance across email, digital advertising, social media, web, lead generation, registrations, and customer conversion.
·         Improve marketing attribution and the department’s ability to connect activity to revenue, engagement, and retention.
·         Translate performance data into actionable recommendations for the CMO and organizational leaders.
·         Continually identify trends, opportunities, and areas of underperformance.

Team Leadership & Collaboration
·         Provide leadership, coaching, priorities, and accountability across the Marketing & Media Department.
·         Partner closely with the Director of Creative Services to align campaign strategy with creative execution.
·         Partner with the Director of Media & Broadcast to leverage video, streaming, and original content as marketing and growth drivers.
·         Partner with the Director of Partnerships to maximize sponsor activation, partner visibility, and revenue opportunities.
·         Collaborate with sport and event directors to understand business objectives and develop effective marketing strategies.

Role Within the Marketing & Media Department
A major objective of this position is to provide additional operational leadership capacity within the department.

The Director will take significant ownership of day-to-day marketing operations and integrated execution, allowing the CMO to focus more heavily on overall brand and marketing strategy, business growth, content and media strategy, TCSN and streaming growth, sponsorships and partnerships, new revenue opportunities, innovation, and long-term organizational strategy.

The Senior Director will be responsible for ensuring that broader strategy consistently becomes high-quality execution.


Required Experience & Qualifications
·         6+ years of progressive marketing experience, preferably within an agency, consumer brand, sports organization, events business, media company, or similarly complex environment.
·         Demonstrated experience leading people, projects, campaigns, or cross-functional marketing initiatives.
·         Strong background in growth and/or lifecycle marketing.
·         Advanced CRM and marketing automation experience; HubSpot experience is required.
·         Experience developing email marketing, automated customer journeys, segmentation, and database strategies.
·         Experience with lead generation, customer acquisition, paid digital marketing, and campaign optimization.
·         Strong understanding of marketing analytics, dashboards, attribution, and performance reporting.
·         Ability to translate data into actionable marketing recommendations.
·         Strong project management, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
·         Ability to manage multiple brands, campaigns, stakeholders, and priorities simultaneously.
Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically.
