Spanning 530,000 square feet, Trilith LIVE features a 2,400-seat theater, 50,000 square feet of sound stages, multi-purpose meeting rooms, support space, dressing rooms, green rooms, production offices, suites, wardrobe, audience holding areas, outdoor plaza areas, full-service catering and concessions, box office, and a 730-space parking deck.
Trilith LIVE is seeking a skilled and proactive professional to join our team as the Operations Manager. This full-time position is responsible for supporting the Director of Operations in the coordination, oversight, and implementation of facility operations and maintenance. The Operations Manager will directly supervise the day-to-day activities of the Operations Team and assist in maintaining efficient and effective building operations, providing essential support to ensure a safe, clean, and high-functioning venue for events and daily use.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Operations Manager keeps the mission, vision, and values of Trilith LIVE at the forefront of decision making and action; builds strategic and collaborative relationships and interacts with others in a way that builds confidence and trust; and provides excellent customer service by taking action to accomplish objectives and generate solutions. The Operations Manager supports the Director of Operations with the planning and implementation of all facility operations, including event set-up and breakdown, custodial/housekeeping duties, equipment maintenance, and general venue upkeep. This position directly supervises daily work of Operations Team Members, ensuring tasks are completed safely, effectively, and in a timely manner.
The Operations Manager assists with the management and upkeep of building systems such as HVAC, lighting, safety systems, and general maintenance needs, in coordination with vendors and contractors. They conduct inspections of systems, equipment, and venue spaces to ensure proper operation and appearance and identify issues for corrective or preventive maintenance. The role includes maintaining schedules and checklists for routine tasks, equipment upkeep, and inventory tracking. The Operations Manager assists with vendor coordination and monitoring of work being performed on-site and utilizes work order software to manage and track maintenance tasks and assignments. The Manager also supports safety protocols and emergency response procedures and ensures compliance with facility safety standards and training of team members. In collaboration with the Director of Operations, the Operations Manager helps coordinate logistics for special projects and renovations and performs hands-on operational duties when needed to support the team and ensure smooth venue operations. Other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILTIES: The Operations Manager directly supervises Operations Team Members and part-time support staff. The position is responsible for scheduling, assigning daily responsibilities, and evaluating performance. The Manager provides training, guidance, and support to team members in alignment with operational goals and collaborates with the Director of Operations in performance management and team development.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree is preferred; equivalent experience may be considered. A minimum of three (3) years of experience in operations, facilities, or venue management is required. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience supervising team members in a fast-paced, hands-on work environment and possess working knowledge of building systems and facility operations, including safety protocols, basic maintenance, and event logistics. Excellent organizational and time management skills are essential, along with strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities. The ability to read and interpret basic building drawings and specifications is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and familiarity with work order systems or facility management software is expected. The candidate must have the ability to work flexible and extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.
