The Box Office Manager oversees all aspects of ticketing operations for Trilith LIVE, ensuring accurate reporting, seamless system functionality, and a high-quality guest and client experience. This role manages the day-to-day operations of the Box Office, supervises ticketing staff, and serves as the primary liaison between Finance, Marketing, and Event teams to optimize sales, analytics, and marketing integrations. The ideal candidate combines technical ticketing expertise with strong leadership and communication skills to uphold Trilith LIVE’s commitment to excellence and hospitality.
Essential Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain ticketing platforms (e.g., TM1, Archtics, or similar) to ensure accurate event builds, seat maps, and pricing structures.
- Oversee all ticketing operations, including on-sale preparation, event settlements, inventory management, and financial reporting.
- Supervise and train Box Office Coordinators and Team Members, ensuring accuracy, professionalism, and outstanding customer service.
- Collaborate with the Director of Finance to reconcile ticket revenue, prepare sales reports, and monitor cash handling procedures.
- Partner with the Sales & Marketing team to build events, implement promotional offers, and track marketing campaign performance through ticketing analytics.
- Serve as the primary contact for promoters, clients, and internal departments regarding ticketing logistics, holds, and event configurations.
- Ensure all ticketing policies comply with company standards, venue contracts, and reporting requirements.
- Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for box office processes, including refund/exchange policies and access control.
- Troubleshoot and resolve ticketing issues promptly and professionally during events and on-sale periods.
- Provide excellent internal and external customer service consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Trilith LIVE.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in box office or ticketing management within a live entertainment, sports, or performing arts venue.
- Proficiency with TM1, Archtics, or comparable ticketing systems.
- Demonstrated ability to manage financial reporting, reconciliations, and ticket settlements.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with experience supervising and scheduling staff.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and accuracy under pressure.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and event days.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience integrating ticketing systems with marketing platforms and CRMs.
- Knowledge of ADA ticketing compliance, PCI standards, and data integrity best practices.
- Familiarity with event management software, guest services, or CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Background in live event operations, performing arts, or entertainment venue management.
