Located in the vibrant Atlanta Metro area, Trilith LIVE is designed to host concerts, rehearsals, live audience productions, conventions, corporate meetings, performing arts, tradeshows, exhibitions, special events, and much more. Spanning 530,000 square feet, Trilith LIVE features a 2,200-seat theater, 50,000 square feet of sound stages, multi-purpose meeting rooms, support space, dressing rooms, green rooms, production offices, suites, wardrobe, audience holding areas, outdoor plaza areas, full-service catering and concessions, box office, and a 730-space parking deck.

Trilith LIVE is seeking a highly skilled, forward-thinking, and hands-on AV/IT Manager to oversee and manage the venue’s AV and equipment, technology and IT infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and upkeep of all AV and IT-related systems. The AV Manager will work closely with production teams, clients, vendors, contractors, and internal staff to ensure seamless operations across all events in the venue. This position is focused on day-to-day AV and IT support, the big picture systems, vendor oversight, and venue-wide connectivity that enable Trilith LIVE to deliver world-class guest and client experiences.

Essential Responsibilities

AV
·        Set up, operate and tear down all in-house equipment and rented AV equipment (cameras, tripods, cabling, taping, etc.)

·        Perform both preventive and corrective maintenance to all in-house AV equipment.

·        Work closely with clients, event managers, and team members to understand AV needs and provide solutions that       meet these requirements

·        Provide technical advisement to other departments upon request.

·        Proactively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to live events.

·        Install and operate a variety of AV equipment including projectors, microphones, speakers, video, monitors, cameras, recording equipment, connecting wires and cables, sound and mixing boards.

·        Communicate effectively across departments, aligning technical execution with creative objectives.

·        Operate the venue’s Q-SYS system.

·        Work closely with the venue’s production contractor on show and event needs.

IT
·        Provide connectivity to users in the meeting rooms for special events, as required.

·        Provide first and second level technical support to staff in a timely manner.

·        General IT Knowledge - Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, and printers.

·        Manage office IT operations, including setup and maintenance of workstations, printers, telecommunication systems, and other office equipment.

·        Setup and tear down of event related functions as needed.
  • Partner with production teams and internal departments to ensure reliable broadcasting, connectivity, and technology capabilities during live events.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This role does not directly manage an internal AV or IT team. Instead, the AV/IT Manager will coordinate with production staff, vendors, contractors, and Trilith LIVE colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of AV and IT services.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in AV, IT and technical media coordination and operation, preferably in a convention, theater, arena or hotel environment
  • Knowledge of audio-visual equipment and electronic services in public assembly settings including Q-SYS, IPTV etc.
  • Knowledge of both Mac and Windows operating systems, including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and incident management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to work across diverse teams (production, operations, vendors, staff).
  • Knowledge of IT security, compliance standards, and preventive maintenance practices.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed during events.

Physical Demands / Work Environment
While performing the duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, walk, and sit for extended periods; use hands and fingers with dexterity; and reach with hands and arms. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but may be louder during live events.
