Spanning 530,000 square feet, Trilith LIVE features a 2,200-seat theater, 50,000 square feet of sound stages, multi-purpose meeting rooms, support space, dressing rooms, green rooms, production offices, suites, wardrobe, audience holding areas, outdoor plaza areas, full-service catering and concessions, box office, and a 730-space parking deck.
Trilith LIVE is seeking an experienced Accounting Coordinator to join our growing team. This position supports the financial operations of the organization by performing mid-level professional accounting work, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, payroll preparation, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The Accountant Coordinator works closely with the Finance and HR teams to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data, compliance with applicable regulations, and the timely completion of accounting functions.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Keeps the mission, vision, and values of Trilith LIVE at the forefront of decision-making and action; interacts with others in a way that builds confidence and trust; provides excellent customer service by taking action to accomplish objectives and maintain high levels of professionalism and hospitality.
- Assist with monthly and year-end financial reports, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Perform general ledger accounting, posting, and reporting functions.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and proper documentation.
- Process payrolls for all employees in compliance with federal and state wage and hour laws and company policy.
- Process and track paid time off (PTO), payroll adjustments, and deductions.
- Prepare and reconcile purchase orders, invoices, and vendor payments; issue checks and maintain check logs.
- Collect and maintain W-9 forms; assist with annual 1099 preparation.
- Support financial forecasting and budget development in collaboration with the Finance team.
- Research, track, and resolve accounting discrepancies and related issues.
- Maintain event and project files to support accurate financial tracking and reporting.
- Assist in compiling and analyzing financial information for reporting and audit purposes.
- Support Finance leadership with audits, grant reporting, and special projects as needed.
- Always maintain confidentiality of financial and employee information.
- Perform general clerical and administrative duties to support the Finance department.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a hospitality, entertainment, or non-profit environment.
- Experience with Sage Accounting Software system required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Thorough understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Demonstrated professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
