TrackTown USA is seeking a Director of Sponsorship Sales to drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships, delivering value for sponsors while advancing TrackTown USA’s mission to make Eugene the premier track and field destination in the world.

The Director of Sponsorship Sales will lead the development, negotiation, and execution of corporate partnerships and sponsorships for TrackTown USA events, programs, and community initiatives. This leader will build and maintain strong relationships with national and regional brands, maximizing revenue opportunities while ensuring mutually beneficial partnerships that enhance the fan and athlete experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Revenue Generation
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive sponsorship sales strategy to achieve annual revenue targets.
    • Identify, prospect, and secure new national and regional sponsors across categories such as apparel, footwear, technology, financial services, hospitality, consumer goods, etc.
    • Renew and grow existing sponsor relationships through customized activation strategies.

  • Partnership Development & Activation
    • Create compelling sponsorship packages, including naming rights, hospitality, digital media, broadcast, grassroots programs, and experiential activations.
    • Collaborate with internal departments (marketing, operations, community engagement) to deliver world-class partnership experiences.
    • Ensure sponsorship agreements are fulfilled and exceeded, providing measurable ROI for partners.

  • Leadership & Collaboration
    • Manage a sponsorship sales team and coordinate with external agencies or consultants as needed.
    • Represent TrackTown USA at industry conferences, community events, and networking opportunities.
    • Provide regular reports on sponsorship pipeline, projections, and performance to senior leadership and board members.

  • Other Duties as Assigned: The Director of Sponsorship Sales may also be responsible for performing other duties as assigned by the Chief Revenue Officer. These additional tasks will be in line with the overall objectives of the role and will provide opportunities for professional growth and development.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sponsorship sales, corporate partnerships, or business development (sports, entertainment, or live events preferred).
  • Proven track record of securing sponsorships.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills. 
  • Deep understanding of brand marketing, ROI measurement, and experiential activations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and collaborative environment.
  • Passion for sports, live events, and community impact.
