Ennoble Care Philly Open | Professional Women's Tennis
The Ennoble Care Philly Open is seeking energetic, organized, and people-oriented individuals to join our Volunteer Services team during tournament week. Volunteers are a critical part of the tournament's success, and this position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience managing and supporting one of the most important groups involved in event operations.

The Volunteer Services Intern will work directly with the Volunteer Coordinator and Tournament Staff to assist with all aspects of volunteer management, communication, scheduling, and engagement before and during the event. This role is ideal for individuals interested in sports management, event operations, leadership, and volunteer coordination.

About the Ennoble Care Philly Open
The Ennoble Care Philly Open will take place August 23–29, 2026, at the University of Pennsylvania's Hamlin Tennis Center.

As women's sports continue to experience unprecedented growth, the Philly Open aims to create a premier platform for female athletes while providing Philadelphia sports fans with the opportunity to experience world-class women's professional tennis.

Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Volunteer Coordinator and Tournament Staff, the Volunteer Services Intern will assist with all aspects of volunteer operations throughout tournament week.

Responsibilities may include:
  • Assist with volunteer recruitment, communication, and onboarding efforts leading up to the tournament.
  • Help organize volunteer schedules, assignments, and shift coverage across tournament departments.
  • Serve as a primary resource for volunteers throughout tournament week.
  • Assist with volunteer check-in, credential distribution, uniform distribution, and orientation sessions.
  • Communicate schedule updates, tournament information, and operational changes to volunteers.
  • Support volunteer hospitality areas and help ensure volunteers have a positive tournament experience.
  • Help troubleshoot volunteer-related issues and provide solutions in a fast-paced event environment.
  • Support additional event operations projects as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Interest in sports management, event operations, hospitality, leadership, or volunteer management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with large groups of people.
  • Ability to problem-solve and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
  • Must be available on-site during tournament week (August 18–30, 2026).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Comfortable communicating with volunteers, staff, and tournament stakeholders.
