The Ennoble Care Philly Open is seeking a highly organized and dependable Transportation Manager to oversee all tournament transportation operations during tournament week. This position plays a critical role in delivering a first-class experience for players, coaches, officials, and tournament guests.

The Transportation Manager will be responsible for coordinating all player transportation needs, managing a team of volunteer drivers, and ensuring efficient and timely transportation between airports, hotels, and the Hamlin Tennis Center.

This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced event environment.

About the Ennoble Care Philly Open
The Ennoble Care Philly Open will take place August 23–29, 2026, at the University of Pennsylvania's Hamlin Tennis Center. The tournament is part of the professional women's tennis pathway and will feature many of the world's top rising players competing in Philadelphia.

As women's sports continue to experience unprecedented growth, the Philly Open aims to create a premier platform for female athletes while providing Philadelphia sports fans with the opportunity to experience world-class women's professional tennis.

Responsibilities
Under the direction of Tournament Management, the Transportation Manager will oversee all transportation-related operations throughout tournament week.

Responsibilities include:
  • Manage all player, coach, official, and tournament guest transportation requests.
  • Coordinate airport arrivals and departures for players and tournament personnel.
  • Develop and maintain daily transportation schedules and trip assignments.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all transportation-related communications.
  • Recruit, schedule, train, and supervise volunteer drivers.
  • Assign transportation requests and monitor driver availability throughout the tournament.
  • Track all transportation activity to ensure timely and efficient service.
  • Communicate regularly with player services staff regarding player schedules, practice times, match schedules, and transportation needs.
  • Coordinate transportation between hotels, airports, practice facilities, and the tournament venue.
  • Troubleshoot transportation challenges and provide real-time solutions as scheduling changes occur.
  • Maintain accurate records of transportation schedules, driver assignments, and completed trips.
  • Assist with VIP, sponsor, and special guest transportation when needed.
  • Attend tournament planning meetings and daily operations briefings.
  • Ensure all transportation operations reflect the professional standards of the tournament and provide a positive experience for players and guests.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in event management, transportation logistics, hospitality, or sports operations.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Comfortable leading and coordinating volunteers.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, scheduling tools, and mobile communication platforms.
  • Ability to remain calm and flexible in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Must be available on-site throughout tournament week (August 18–30, 2026).
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
  • Previous event operations or volunteer management experience preferred.
