The Ennoble Care Philly Open is seeking enthusiastic, personable, and service-oriented individuals to join our Player Services team during tournament week. This position provides a unique opportunity to work directly with professional tennis players from around the world and play an important role in creating a first-class player experience.

The Player Services Intern will be based primarily in the tournament Player Lounge and Player Services office, serving as a resource for players, coaches, and tournament personnel throughout the event. This role is ideal for individuals interested in sports management, hospitality, athlete relations, and professional event operations.

About the Ennoble Care Philly Open
The Ennoble Care Philly Open will take place August 23–29, 2026, at the University of Pennsylvania's Hamlin Tennis Center.

As women's sports continue to experience unprecedented growth, the Philly Open aims to create a premier platform for female athletes while providing Philadelphia sports fans with the opportunity to experience world-class women's professional tennis. 

Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Player Services Manager and Tournament Staff, the Player Services Intern will assist with all aspects of player hospitality and athlete support.

Responsibilities may include:
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for players and coaches in the Player Lounge throughout tournament week.
  • Assist players with tournament-related questions and requests.
  • Help coordinate player check-in and registration upon arrival.
  • Provide information regarding tournament schedules, practice courts, transportation, hospitality, hotels, dining, and local attractions.
  • Maintain a welcoming, professional, and organized Player Lounge environment.
  • Assist with player meals, snacks, beverages, and hospitality services.
  • Communicate player needs and requests to the appropriate tournament departments.
  • Coordinate with transportation, operations, and hospitality teams to ensure player needs are met.
  • Assist with practice court scheduling and player communications.
  • Support player gift distribution, credentialing, and tournament information materials.
  • Help troubleshoot player concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Build positive relationships with players, coaches, officials, and tournament staff.
  • Assist with additional player services and event operations projects as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Interest in sports management, hospitality, event management, or athlete relations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Friendly, professional, and customer-service oriented attitude.
  • Ability to remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Requirements
  • Must be available on-site during tournament week (August 18–30, 2026).
  • Must be comfortable interacting with professional athletes and tournament stakeholders.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the venue.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
