Ennoble Care Philly Open | Professional Women's Tennis
Topnotch Events is bringing professional women's tennis to Philadelphia with the inaugural Ennoble Care Philly Open, a premier event on the WTA calendar featuring some of the top rising players in the world. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in professional sports while helping launch one of the region's newest women's sporting events.

Interns will work directly alongside the tournament operations team and gain firsthand experience in the planning and execution of a professional sporting event. This role is ideal for students interested in sports management, event operations, hospitality, and live event production.

The internship will include on-site responsibilities during set up week and tournament week.

About the Ennoble Care Philly Open
The Ennoble Care Philly Open will take place August 23–29, 2026, at the University of Pennsylvania's Hamlin Tennis Center.

As women's sports continue to experience unprecedented growth, the Philly Open aims to create a premier platform for female athletes while providing Philadelphia sports fans with the opportunity to experience world-class women's professional tennis. The tournament will bring together top players from around the world and showcase the next generation of women's tennis stars.

Internship Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Tournament Director and Event Operations staff, interns will assist with the planning and execution of all aspects of the Ennoble Care Philly Open.

Responsibilities may include:
  • Assist the event operations team with all tournament operations, including pre-event preparation, daily tournament activities, and post-event breakdown.
  • Support venue setup, branding, signage placement, player spaces, and fan engagement areas.
  • Coordinate and support tournament staff throughout the week.
  • Monitor venue operations throughout tournament week and assist with troubleshooting operational issues as they arise.
  • Help supervise event staff and volunteers while gaining hands-on leadership and project management experience in a live event environment.
  • Assist with day of operations, including player escorts, crowd management, ceremonies, special events, and on-court presentations.
  • Assist with court operations during matches.
  • Attend tournament planning meetings and daily operations briefings in preparation for upcoming matches and event activities.
  • Support tournament staff with additional operational needs to ensure a successful professional sporting event.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Major in Sports Management, Business, Marketing, Communications, Exercise Science, or a related field
  • Interest in sports, event management, hospitality, or operations
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Passion for sports and live events
  • Ability to take initiative and adapt in a dynamic event setting

Requirements
  • Must be able to work on-site during tournament week (August 18–30, 2026)
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the venue
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
