Company Overview: Topnotch Management (TNM) is a boutique sports management agency representing some of the world's top tennis, pickle and squash players. TNM also manages and hosts several top-tier tennis events, including Tennis in the Land, a WTA 250 event, and the Cleveland Open, an ATP Challenger 75 event.

About Tennis in the Land:
As one of the biggest professional women’s tennis events in the country, Tennis in the Land (WTA 250) welcomes some of the top women tennis players in the world to Cleveland, Ohio, the week prior to the US Open. With $300,000 in prize money and valuable WTA ranking points at stake, this is one of the premier stand-alone women’s tennis events in the United States and is the only professional women’s sporting event in Cleveland.

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for creating graphic and motion graphic content for in-stadium display at Tennis in the Land, Cleveland's annual WTA event and biggest annual women’s sporting event, as well as other events throughout the year. This person should have excellent project-management skills, strong attention to detail and brand guidelines, and be able to conceptualize and execute compelling design for in-stadium and other marketing uses across talent and event divisions. 

Responsibilities:
  • Create compelling videoboard and LED Ribbon Board graphics as well as other elements for in-stadium production for Tennis in the Land event, plus other needs across events and talent.
  • Work closely with the event and sponsorship teams to develop content features and overall in-stadium design elements
  • Provide graphic management support during tournament alongside videoboard production team. 
  • Maintain quality control of projects from concept to completion
  • Strong creative skills and knowledge of sports entertainment in a production environment
  • Solid understanding and implementation of design techniques 
  • Ability to work well under pressure and on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must have portfolio/demo reel
  • Ability to collaborate and work well with others, while also taking initiative and working independently.
  • Ability to research and develop content, file management, and organization of content across many different platforms and software.
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated expertise with Adobe Premier, as well as across the Adobe Creative Suite with emphasis in After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Interest in sports, culture and entertainment
  • Commitment to work long-hour stretches (including weekends and holidays) - especially during events, as well as periods of heavy pre-production and with short-turnaround projects on tight deadlines. 

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2-4 years of professional motion graphic design experience, preferably in sports and entertainment.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premier, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Demonstrated work experience solving problems and successfully learning new programs. 
  • Candidate must be proficient in all aspects of graphic and video post-production including (but not limited to) Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, Illustrator, Photoshop) and any associated plug-ins
  • Candidate must possess strong graphic production skills and a thorough, hands-on working knowledge of video, HD display operations and integrated audio in a live sports entertainment environment
  • Candidate must be able to adapt to ever changing requests, design edits and/or revisions and must be able to take direction and produce an approved finished product in a timely manner
  • Candidate must be able to work well with other graphic producers, editors and game presentation staff in order to collaborate and establish an effective workflow within the team environment
