At Suburban Sports Group, we believe in developing the whole athlete. Through HoneyBaked Hockey Club, the Athlete Academy, the Athlete Lab, and Suburban Hockey Schools, we combine best-in-class training, leadership development, and life skills to prepare athletes to succeed on and off the ice/field/court.
We’re looking for a creative and driven Digital Media & Communications Specialist to capture the energy, passion, and growth happening every day across our programs. If you love creating engaging social content, telling meaningful stories, and being part of a team that’s shaping the next generation of athletes, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do:
- Create and share inspiring content that brings our training, athletes, and coaches to life on social media.
- Develop digital campaigns that spark excitement and connect with athletes, families, and the larger hockey community.
- Capture live moments at games, training sessions, showcases, and events.
- Manage content calendars, brand messaging, and digital storytelling across four unique yet connected athlete development brands.
- Work closely with coaches, staff, and athletes to highlight their journeys and successes.
- Oversee the collection, management, and distribution of athletic statistics, media content, and game information to promote teams and enhance public visibility.
What We’re Looking For:
- A strong storyteller with experience in digital media, social media management, or marketing.
- Someone comfortable behind the camera and with editing software (Canva, Adobe, CapCut, Premiere, or similar).
- A communicator who can adapt tone and style across audiences from parents to players to partners.
- A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and isn’t afraid to jump in at events.
- A passion for sports, community, and helping athletes reach their full potential.
