OPEN POSITIONS: Internship for Coaching
JOB TYPES: Internship, Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
COMPENSATION: $15 per hour (*Candidates who require credit hours only)
TIME COMMITMENT: 20-30 hours/week (Summer)
- Monday through Friday
- Morning shifts (8am – 1pm)
- Afternoon shifts (12pm – 5pm)
- Full day shifts (8am – 5pm)
- May require an occasional evening/weekend (for event or meeting)
SITE LOCATIONS: Aurora, Boulder, Brighton, Broomfield, Colorado Springs, Denver, Edgewater, Englewood, Erie, Firestone/Frederick, Fort Collins, Golden, Greeley, Hyland Hills, Highlands Ranch, Ken-Caryl Ranch, Lafayette, Lakewood, Littleton, Longmont, Louisville, Loveland, Mead, Northglenn, Parker, South Suburban, Sterling Ranch, Timnath, Thornton, Vail, Westminster, Windsor (work in one or multiple locations close to home)
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience working with children required (1-2 years with ages 4-14)
- Multi-sport experience required (1-2 years playing Baseball, Basketball, Cheerleading, Flag Football, Golf, Lacrosse, Pickleball, Soccer, Tennis, Track, Volleyball)
- Coaching/Teaching/Camp Counselor experience preferred (1-2 years)
- Experience and/or School-related classes in Marketing
- Reliable transportation required
- Background check required upon hire (company paid)
- First Aid and CPR certification required upon being hired (company paid)
- Must be 18 years old by hire date
- Adaptable, Self-motivated, Energetic, Excited, Encouraging, Confident, Responsible and Patient
JOB DUTIES:
- Gain hands on experience in the sports industry
- Teach sports skills and life skills to kids ages 2-14
- Choose one project to complete by the end of summer in your desired sports management subject matter. Projects may be related to sales, marketing, HR, operations, training, customer service, fitness/exercise, special needs, inclusion and more.
- Work directly with Colorado franchise owners
- Work independently and with a team
- Encourage a safe and fun learning environment
- Communicate with parents at programs
