About the Role
SidelineSwap is looking for part-time Trade-In Event Assistants to help run our local sports gear trade-in events.
At these events, athletes and families bring in their used sports gear, and we help them trade it in for store credit. Your role is to help create a smooth, fast, and positive experience while assisting with gear intake and event operations.

What You’ll Do
  • Assist with checking in customers and organizing gear
  • Help photograph sports equipment for resale
  • Support the Trade-In Coordinator with event setup and breakdown
  • Keep the event space organized and running efficiently
  • Provide a great customer experience to athletes and families

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Reliable and able to work weekends
  • Interest in sports (playing, coaching, or general knowledge is a plus)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • Detail-oriented (especially when handling and organizing gear)

Bonus if you:
  • Have bought/sold items online (SidelineSwap, eBay, Facebook, etc.)
  • Have experience in retail, events, or customer service
  • Are a current or former athlete

Schedule
  • Primarily weekend shifts (Saturday–Sunday) 10:00 - 6:00
  • Flexible scheduling based on event calendar
  • Opportunities for additional events
