JOB TITLE: Development Analyst
REPORTING STRUCTURE: The Development Analyst is responsible for supporting the Project Executive, Facilities Director, Economic Development Manager, Grant Manager, and other staff in the coordination and administration of programs and projects, as well as performing additional project-related tasks as assigned. The Development Analyst reports directly to the Project Executive.
EXEMPTION STATUS: Exempt
GENERAL: Development Analyst will support the Development Team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Main areas of responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Sports Event Grant (SEG) Program
· Assist the Grant Manager with the preparation, maintenance, and submission of SEG Program applications, close-out reports, and the overall administration of each funding cycle.
· Coordinate communication with applicants, providing guidance on application and close-out procedures, required documentation, and program timelines.
· Support preparation for Sports & Exhibition Authority (SEA) and Sports Commission Board meetings by drafting application round summaries, board briefings, Board Action Requests, and funding reports.
· Utilize Fluxx grant management software to track applications, agreements, post-event reports, and funding disbursements, ensuring all grantee information is accurately maintained.
· Generate reports from Fluxx for internal and external stakeholders and provide training and technical support to applicants and grantees on system use.
· Assist in reviewing grantee final reports and disbursement requests, verifying that all required documentation and milestones are met prior to payment processing.
· Communicate with internal finance teams and grantees to ensure timely and accurate transfer of funds.
Development Team
· Assist with board meeting preparation for SEA, Stadium Authority (SA) and Sports Commission.
· Coordinate meetings with stakeholders on various issues.
· Gather data and assist with writing reports such as Sustainability Report, Economic Impact Report and Annual Report.
· Write general correspondence; maintain electronic and hard copy filing structure and archives.
· Support the Development Team on various capital and other projects
· Conduct research and best practices on topics related to Development Team projects
· Assist with review and implementation of all LEED & Parksmart requirements to assure certification and/or recertification of buildings and development projects including coordination of work, data gathering, and completion of documentation.
Additional Responsibilities:
· Review and update website data as needed.
· Additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in sports management, event planning, business administration, or a related field is preferred and 1-2 years of work experience in grant administration, event planning, or program coordination is preferred. The candidate must demonstrate excellent writing skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and timeframes, and be flexible with different types of assignments. Technical skills must include advanced computer skills, including using the internet, and knowledge of standard software applications such as Microsoft Office. The candidate must have a strong work ethic and be willing to accept any assignment from the Executive staff.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: The candidate must demonstrate exceptional writing, oral communication, research and organizational skills. And be highly organized, demonstrate a mature ability to interact with Executive staff, Board Members, and the general public.
OTHER: MUST BE A RESIDENT OF ALLEGHENY COUNTY.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT/CONDITIONS:

·M- F, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
· 40 hours per week
