Position Summary
The Part-Time Ranch & House Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of the residence and associated ranch facilities. This role supports a safe, organized, and welcoming environment by performing routine and deep-cleaning tasks with attention to detail, reliability, and respect for privacy.
Primary Responsibilities
Residential Cleaning
- Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, and hallways
- Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
- Sanitize countertops, sinks, appliances, and fixtures
- Change linens and make beds as requested
- Empty trash and recycling
- Maintain organization of supplies and storage areas
Ranch / Property Areas
- Clean offices, common areas, tack or mud rooms, and restrooms (if applicable)
- Sweep walkways and entry points
- Remove debris and maintain tidy outdoor living spaces
- Monitor and restock paper goods and cleaning materials
General Duties
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely
- Notify owner/manager of repair or safety concerns
- Secure property upon completion of work
- Follow scheduling instructions and special event preparation requests
Qualifications
- Prior residential or hospitality cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and follow direction
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and reaching
- Must maintain confidentiality and respect for private property
Work Schedule
- Flexible part-time hours; schedule to be agreed upon in advance, 20 hours a week max.
- May include occasional weekend or pre-event cleaning needs
Compensation
- $20 per hour rate based on experience
Work Environment
Work occurs both indoors and outdoors and may involve exposure to dust, cleaning agents, and varying weather conditions.
