Position Overview:
Are you eager to grow with a fast-growing new sports collectibles brand? We need you. Players Pins makes patent-pending collectible sports pins made custom for professional sports teams promotions (MLB, NBA, NHL, MLS). We are expanding and require a driven Sales Account Executive to support our efforts. As an Account Executive for the east (ideally located in NYC, Philadelphia, Charlotte, DC, Atlanta, Miami, Orlando, or Tampa), you should be able to prospect for clients, foster client relationships, and close deals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, primarily through daily tenacious emailing
- Send short emails with great questions to spark interest and start conversations
- Sales calls and product demonstrations to potential clients
- Meet sales targets and performance metrics
- Provide quotes and invoices
- Follow up post sale, post event to improve for future promotions
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities
- Stay current with industry trends, competitor activity, and product developments
- Collaborate with the co-founders to develop tailored solutions for clients
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to expand your network
- Ensure client satisfaction by following up regularly for repurchasing and extending contracts.
Skills and Qualifications (No single qualification is required):
- A fan of sports, interested in collectibles, pop culture, and fashion
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Marketing or a related field
- 2+ years of sales experience in an account management, or a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer focus and the ability to build lasting relationships
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in CRM software
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work on different projects simultaneously
- Ability to travel to attend sports games, meet, and entertain customers
- Goal-oriented with a track record of achieving sales targets
Compensation:
Expected compensation $50-$100K first year, $150K-$200K second year and after.
