POSITION SUMMARY
The Director, Sales position is responsible for driving revenue through the sale of sponsorship & hospitality partnerships for Outlyr with a primary focus on The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge, which is held in Tampa Bay, Florida.  The role will be based in Outlyr’s Belleair, FL office and will report directly to the Tournament Director & Senior Vice President of Partnerships for Outlyr.  
 
RESPONSIBILITIES + DUTIES
  • Identify new prospective partners for Outlyr with a primary focus on The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge. 
  • Aggressive outreach strategy to companies in Tampa Bay FL and the surrounding region, with the goal of generating meetings with key decision makers for partnership participation
  • Drive significant revenue through the sale of sponsorships, hospitality & experiential partnerships
  • Develop and execute the delivery and presentation of partnership proposals  
  • Build strong relationships with senior decision-makers and community leaders
  • Manage the creation of sales presentations by identifying the objectives of brands and providing a best-in-class solution
  • Show accountability through tracking and reporting of pipeline progress
  • Assist with the implementation of activation plans for all sponsors
  • Represent Outlyr and The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge with integrity 
  • Comply with tour rules and regulations as it relates to specific tournaments
  • Opportunity to generate incremental revenue into other Outlyr events (and receive compensation for these sales)

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proven track record in sales including 3-5 years of ticket sales and/or partnership sales experience 
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
  • Significant knowledge or background in the sports industry
  • Strong negotiating, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability and flexibility for weekend/holiday work as needed
  • Must be available to work full time in the Tampa Bay, FL market
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for support in other markets
