Event Management: Event Operations/Management
Internship Dates: September 5, 2023 to January 1, 2024

Intern candidates must be current college or graduate school students. This internship is unpaid and is for course credit only.  Please do not apply if you are not a current student or will be able to receive course credit - we are unable to make exceptions for this position.

This internship is an in-person, full-time (40 hrs / week) position. Interns MUST be available to work December 26 - January 1.

All internships will be interdepartmental to allow for a well-rounded intern experience. There will be events & operations opportunities such as:
  • Have active role in event day execution and management of member events and large events, including the TransPerfect Music City Bowl.
  • Assist with the overall strategy of NSC events by assisting with bids, site visits, research etc.
  • Attend site visits and planning meetings with NSC/MCB Staff
  • Assist with the volunteer program, including recruitment, training and on-site management
  • Oversee the updating of MCB team manuals
  • Assist with membership and ticket renewal calls, as needed.
  • Execute projects, assignments, and general administrative duties as assigned by the NSC/MCB staff
  • Other duties for Nashville Sports Council and TransPerfect Music City Bowl as required
