Mascot Sports is seeking a seasoned Executive Producer to lead the production and operational delivery of the inaugural functional fitness event. This role serves as the primary project lead, bridging the gap between high-level strategy and on-the-ground execution. You will turn a "lab assessment" concept into a high-octane cultural spectacle, managing a budget of $500k+ and a complex multi-stakeholder timeline.
The ideal candidate has deep experience in functional fitness event production (e.g., Hyrox, CrossFit, Spartan, DEKA) and understands the specific "math" of athlete throughput, wave times, and circuit logistics within an indoor arena environment.
Required Qualifications
- Functional Fitness Specialist: demonstrable experience producing mass-participation fitness events involving waves, heats, and circuit logistics.
- NYC Venue Experience: Familiarity with labor, permitting, and logistics within New York City venues is highly preferred.
- Budget Mastery: Proven ability to manage a $1M+ production budget, tracking line items dynamically.
- Technical Fluency: Comfort working with timing systems (RFID), wearable tech integration (Whoop/Garmin/Polar APIs), and live data visualization.
- Participant & Spectator Experience: Orchestration a premium, friction-free experience from the Warm-Up Zone to the Recovery Lounge.
- Production Build & Vendor Management: ability to oversee all element of a major participant event. Includes vendor procurement, area design and throughput modelling.
