Adult League Supervisor:
Adult 7v7 Soccer League & Adult Basketball League
We are seeking a dependable, confident, and organized Adult League Supervisor to oversee our Adult 7v7 Soccer League and Adult Basketball League. This individual serves as the on-site lead during league play and is responsible for ensuring games run smoothly, safely, and professionally.
The ideal candidate can confidently manage competitive adult environments while maintaining structure, fairness, and a positive atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
General League Oversight (Both Leagues)
- Serve as the on-site supervisor during league games
- Ensure games start and end on schedule
- Act as the primary point of contact for team captains, officials, and facility staff
- Enforce league rules, policies, and code of conduct
- Address disputes and sportsmanship concerns in a calm and professional manner
- Support referees and officials as needed
- Monitor player eligibility, waivers, and roster compliance
- Complete game reports and incident reports as required
- Respond appropriately to injuries or emergencies following established protocols
- Ensure all equipment is set up properly before games and secured after play
Adult 7v7 Soccer League Responsibilities
- Oversee field setup including goals, nets, game balls, and score tracking
- Confirm team rosters and verify player eligibility prior to kickoff
- Monitor substitution procedures and sideline conduct
- Ensure proper field rotation and adherence to scheduled time blocks
- Assist referees with enforcing league-specific soccer rules and modifications
- Address cautions, ejections, and post-game concerns professionally
- Provide supervision during winter weekend league play
Adult Basketball League Responsibilities
- Oversee court setup including scoreboards, game balls, and benches
- Confirm team rosters and verify player eligibility prior to tip-off
- Monitor substitution procedures and bench conduct
- Ensure scorekeeping and clock management are operating properly
- Assist officials with enforcing league-specific basketball rules
- Address technical fouls, ejections, and post-game disputes
Schedule Requirements
- Availability required on weeknights during league seasons
- Weekend availability required during the winter season for Adult 7v7 Soccer
- Seasonal commitment based on league schedule
Qualifications
- Experience supervising adult sports leagues or competitive recreational programs preferred
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Knowledge of soccer and/or basketball rules
- Ability to manage competitive situations with professionalism
- Reliable and punctual
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
