Maryland Black Bears/Team Maryland Social Media Internship
The Maryland Black Bears are a member of the NAHL and play in the East Division. The team consists of players, 16 to 20 years old, that are vying to play college hockey at the NCAA Division I/III level. THIS IS AN UNPAID INTERNSHIP.
Intern responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Research and provide content
- Team news
- Press releases
- Game summaries
- Manage Team Maryland Social Channels
- Daily Posts
- Team updates
- Player spotlights
- Interactive questions
- Daily Posts
- Cover game-day social media
- Scoring plays
- Penalties
- Intermissions
- Coordinate weekly interviews with coaches and players
- Create content and graphics through:
- Photoshop
- Imovie
- Premier
- Promote merchandise sales through social media and email marketing
- Ensure games are properly broadcasted through HockeyTV
Mandatories:
- Photoshop
- Microsoft Office
- Can be at rink at least once per week
