Position Summary
Reporting to the SVP, Strategy + Analytics, the Business Intelligence Manager ideally will be someone who enjoys telling stories through data. Logitix has access to various data sources and pride ourselves on being best-in-class to surface the data in an easily-ingestible format. Whether building tools for management to internally run our business, or providing shiny new toys for our partners, the BI Analyst will have a significant impact on our successes. The BI Analyst will work closely with our team of business development leads, inventory managers, operations staff, accounting, developers, and other key stakeholders to identify and deliver on all items business intelligence related. Working with various departments, the BI Manager will be integral in developing, managing, and disseminating Logitix’s data-driven efforts.
 
If you’ve ever sold a ticket on the secondary market and have an interest in financial markets, our approach and philosophy will echo a commoditization of the secondary market in which Logitix plays the role of the market maker.  As the BI Manager, you will be front and center in supporting the research and strategy of each ticket’s sales cycle.
 
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Oversee and maintain pipelines for data delivery (both internal and external)
  • Build, maintain, and continuously improve dashboards and other data visualization tools
  • Administer, clean, organize, and analyze data across multiple channels (sources, destinations, and ingestion mechanisms)
  • Work closely with our Director of Analytics to provide data and support assisting with inventory optimization and analysis models
  • Develop and manage automated processes to provide raw data to external clients, such as via email, SFTP, and AWS
  • Complete ad-hoc projects, analysis, and other duties as assigned
 
Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or alternative dashboard/business intelligence tools
  • Experience ingesting and parsing data from REST APIs a plus but not a requirement
  • Expertise in data analysis, especially Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables)
  • Proficiency with relational databases, such as SQL Server or Snowflake, including design and performance
  • Proficiency in a statistics and analysis related programming language (R or Python preferred)
  • Prior ticketing experience a plus not a requirement
