The Social Media & Digital Content Curator will develop and accelerate LiveBarn's digital and social media channels by curating and creating innovative content for all social media channels while engaging real-time with followers, subscribers, venues and partners.   This position requires creativity, exceptional communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment... and a knowledge of sports.  This is a full-time work-from-home position with required weekend hours (amount of time varies and will be compensated with mid-week flexibility).

Social Media
  • Post video clips, compilation videos and other static post content to social media utilizing appropriate post text, hashtags and @mentions across all social media platforms
  • Participate in the creation and publication of social content for all sports
  • Assist in developing strategies to grow social media following through re-shares of user generated clips and appropriate re-share of other content
  • Monitor social conversation for Customer Service questions and issues and work with Support and Venue team to resolve as needed
  • Manage an overarching social media and content calendar, integrated with email content strategy and paid social promotions
  • Work with Director of Marketing to develop an digital strategy that includes cost-effective digital advertising, marketing, email and social media plans, reports and strategies

Video & Content Creation
  • Create content for New Venue Announcements, Features, News stories, etc.
  • Create video posts from relevant highlight submissions and event footage
  • Edit video to include text and video overlays and transitions where necessary
  • Create an organized, shared archive of all saved media clips tagged and sorted by sport, type of play, location, association and tournament/league
  • Assemble Highlight videos using pre-defined templates

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Possess a knowledge of some or all sports broadcast on the LiveBarn network (ice hockey, basketball, soccer, baseball)
  • Experience with best practices for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIN, SnapChat & TikTok – must adhere to business appropriate standards that are aligned with the LiveBarn brand and Corporate Standards
  • Required proficiency in video mobile and desktop editing tools (QuickTime, Final Cut Pro, After Effects), Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, Graphic Design knowledge a plus 
  • Ability to think creatively and innovate, with attention to detail and personal judgement and discretion, strong interpersonal and communication skills and a sense of humor
  • Ability to work individually within a team, and retain a flexible approach in a fast-paced changing environment and manage time well in a remote environment
  • Must have valid passport and be able to travel to and from Canada without issue

Bachelors Degree preferred.
