As a Game Day Operations Intern, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and exciting experience for fans, teams, and staff. This is an excellent opportunity to develop valuable skills in event management, logistics, and customer service within a professional sports environment. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual eager to contribute to our game day success.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with pre-game, in-game, and post-game event setup and breakdown.
- Prepare the venue, including signage, promotional materials, and fan engagement areas.
- Welcome and direct fans, sponsors, vendors, and special guests, providing excellent customer service.
- Help coordinate halftime entertainment, contests, and on-court promotions.
- Distribute promotional giveaways and assist with ticketing when needed.
- Support game officials, team staff, and volunteers throughout the event.
- Monitor fan areas to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and organized game-day environment.
- Assist with sponsor activations and community outreach activities during games.
- Capture behind-the-scenes content for social media when requested.
- Perform other game-day duties as assigned by team management.

Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Sports Management, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Comfortable interacting with fans of all ages and providing exceptional customer service.
- Interest in sports, event management, marketing, or hospitality is preferred.
- Must be available to work home games, special events, and occasional community appearances, including evenings and weekends.
Position Details:
- Type: Internship / Part-Time (Academic Credit)
- Schedule: Weekdays as needed, Evenings and weekends required; based on athletic event schedule.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long hours, walk throughout large venues, and lift items up to 30 pounds.
