IMPACT’s 4-week summer program bridges the gap between education and employment - our proven formula of professional development training, executive mentorship, experiential learning, and real-world work experience, combined with unparalleled access to high-level executives, influencers, and decision makers, prepares students for early-stage success and gives them the tools to be the ideal young professional in any work environment. Students learn how to break into these industries and gain the tangible skills necessary to jump-start their careers and stand out among their peers.

ACADEMIC PARTNER: The IMPACT Learning Institute Professional Development Program is hosted by the UCLA Anderson Center for Media, Entertainment & Sports. The in-person program takes place on the stunning UCLA Campus (virtual options also available). Our partnership with UCLA Anderson gives undergrad students early access opportunities to the academic resources of one of the most acclaimed post-graduate business schools in the world, and all IMPACT students receive an official UCLA Anderson Certificate of Completion.

 WHO CAN APPLY: Any early-stage professionals: college undergraduates, graduate school students, and recent graduates from around the world are welcome! From college freshmen to recent graduates with a few years of experience - any serious-minded, early-stage professionals from around the world can expand their network and learn how to jump-start their careers in these highly-competitive fields.

 

THE 4-WEEK OVERVIEW: IMPACT’s 4-week program includes a comprehensive learning experience designed to equip students with the necessary skills and insights to succeed in the Sports, Entertainment, and Media industries. In Week 1, participants learn from industry leaders, explore diverse career paths, and define their unique value propositions during the IMPACT Training Camp. Weeks 2-4 focus on a 3-week Executive Mentorship program tailored to individual interests, wherein students collaborate with mentors, refine skills through presentations, and gain practical insights into their chosen field. Additionally, weekly program sessions provide ongoing support, professional development, and networking opportunities, led by seasoned professionals who offer hands-on learning experiences, workshops, and guidance relevant to students' career goals.

EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING & WORK OPPORTUNITIES: Our in-person program takes advantage of the Los Angeles location to take students to visit industry-leading organizations, world-class venues, and exclusive events. This includes private tours, executive fireside chats, and work opportunities at places such as:
