NOW HIRING for 2025-26 Seasonal positions (temporary): Ice Technician for our Ice Rink, Heartwood Ice, in Omaha, Nebraska from November 2025 through January 2026.
Additional time prior to opening and after the event closes will also be available. Ideal candidates would be available beginning October 20, 2025 through February 15, 2026.

Heartwood Park has a new public area known as The Bosque that will host a seasonal ice skating rink each year. The 2025 winter season will be second season of Heartwood Ice.
As a thank you to the public, Heartwood will provide this experience free of charge.
Ice-America will be producing the skating rink at Heartwood Ice! Skaters and non-skaters alike are encouraged to apply for this fun and exciting event designed to engage the community during the holiday season! Looking for strong candidates interested in leading a team in a fun work environment. Applicants must have the availability to work during the Holidays, working up to 59 hours a week. Local applicants preferred.
We are currently seeking fun, enthusiastic men and women for:
ICE TECHNICIANS: Hiring Ice Technicians with experience in ice maintenance, ice resurfacing, skate sharpening, and mechanical skills. Having an understanding of refrigeration systems is helpful. Basic plumbing and carpentry skills are beneficial to the role. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Candidates will need to be self-motivated, have a strong sense of urgency, and possess the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills are required. Ice Tech will be responsible for day-to-day ice maintenance, resurfacing, and following Ice-America reporting policies. CPR and First Aid certifications preferred but not required. Compensation dependent upon experience ranging from $24 - $25/hour ($1680-$1750/week).
