Event Overview:
You will be working as an event staff in Florence, KY at Turfway Park for live concert events. As an Event Staff team member with FanGate Solutions for Turfway Park, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in ticket sales, ticket operations, event management and guest services. Job positions for this venue include the following:
- Gate/Ticket Scanning
- Usher/Guest Services Assistance
- Box Office Help
Depending on your role you may be assisting with scanning tickets for entry into the event, checking tickets and helping attendees find their seat, providing attendees with venue information, or helping with ticket sales and will call pickup.
Responsibilities:
- Aid guests with accurate venue information
- Accurately scan and validate all concert tickets
- Assist with mobile ticket troubleshooting
- Represent FanGate Solutions and its clients in a professional and ethical manner
- Punctual and self-motivated with an attention to detail
- Communicate all pertinent information with clients and guests
- Provide & maintain the highest level of customer service to clients and guests
- Perform other duties & responsibilities as assigned by managers
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Be reliable and dependable
- Ability to work untraditional hours including weekends, evenings and some holidays
- College student majoring in hospitality, marketing, sport management, communications or related fields is a plus
- Eager to start & build a career in sports and live entertainment
- Ability to deliver exceptional service by anticipating the guests’ needs and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Strong interpersonal skills that complement a team-oriented work ethic
- Ticket sales and event experience is a plus
- Must be neat and presentable at all times
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be 18 years of age or older with at least a high school diploma or GED
Pay and Schedule:
- 3/21/26 - Jeff Ruby Steaks Horse Race
- Concert Events to follow
Jeff Ruby Steaks shift times are from 10am - 6pm ($15/hr pay)
Concert Event Shift times are approximately 3 hours from 6pm - 9pm (Flat $50 pay)
