PRI Trade Show Event Operations Internship with FanGate Solutions

Overview:

As an event operations staff team member for FanGate Solutions, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in sales, marketing, operations setup/tear down as well as daily operations in special events.  Event operations staff will receive training on: giving top notch customer service to exceed our client’s expectations and increase attendees and vendors overall experience, as well as venue information.

This position is for one event based in Indianapolis, IN.  Would you like to experience working at one of the largest motorsports and expo events in the world?   We provide staffing for the PRI Trade Show on December 7th - 14th taking place at the Indiana Convention Center.  Team members will be performing the following positions: Event Setup/Tear Down, Vendor Check-in, VIP Hospitality Attendant, and Membership/Show Registration,

Responsibilities:
Event Setup: assist with placing signage inside and outside the convention center for event days, checking in products and placing them in the correct cases to display for the show
Vendor Check-in: assist with exhibitor move-in and booth locations, as well as trailer rig parking sales for exhibitors during move-in
VIP Hospitality Attendants:  assist with setup of lounge and VIP areas of the show and serve as attendant for these areas during the show
Membership/Registration Sales:  assist with on-site registration and new membership purchases, as well as badge pickup for those already registered

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Willing to commute to Indianapolis, IN on December 7th -14th 
  • Ability to work untraditional hours including weekends and evenings
  • College student majoring in sport management, hospitality management, sales, advertising or related fields is a plus
  • Eager to start & build a career in sports and live events
  • Ability to deliver exceptional service by anticipating the guests’ needs and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Strong interpersonal skills that complement a team-oriented work ethic 
  • Must be neat and presentable at all times
  • Must be 18 years of age or older with at least a high school diploma or GED

Duration and Pay:
Work event on December 7th - 14th in Indianapolis, IN.  This is a paid events position for work during actual events at $12/hour.
